The rapid urbanization process, urban sprawl, and increasing dependence on automobiles have created significant challenges to the sustainability of the Earth, focusing on environmental, social, and physical dimensions. In response to these challenges, the "15-minute city" approach has been proposed as a new model in urban planning, aiming to improve local accessibility, reduce car-based travel, and enhance citizens' quality of life. The realization of this model requires a review of the urban transportation system, especially strengthening micro-mobility and designing complete streets as human-centered transportation platforms. The present study was conducted to recognize the role of complete streets in improving micro-mobility and realizing the 15-minute city model. The research method was based on a scoping review, and the process of collecting, screening, and selecting studies was carried out according to the PRISMA guidelines. In this regard, national and international studies published between 2020 and 2026 from reputable scientific databases were extracted, screened, and systematically analyzed based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research findings show that complete streets, with an emphasis on indicators such as safety, accessibility, diversity of mobility modes, social justice, and environmental quality, play an effective role in developing micromobility, increasing local accessibility, and reducing dependence on cars. They also provide the basis for realizing the 15-minute city model in urban neighborhoods. The results of this research can be used as a fundamental approach for developing urban planning and design frameworks in line with earth sustainability and human-centered development within cities.
